Clarence Yeo appointed as Senior Advisor to CTH Group, supporting global development

On August 14, 2024, CTH Group announced that Mr. Clarence Yeo, former Senior Advisor (Special Duties) to the Ministry of Home Affairs of Singapore, has officially joined the group as a Senior Advisor. Mr. Yeo will leverage his extensive public service experience and outstanding leadership skills to provide significant support for CTH Group's global strategy.

CTH Group was established in 2016, focusing on investment and development in the fields of blockchain technology and digital innovation. With the continuous expansion of the group's business, Mr. Yeo's joining will further strengthen CTH Group's strategic layout, especially in the following key areas:

1. Deepening Singapore's social participation: Mr. Yeo will build on CTH Group's strong foundation in Singapore to help the group deepen its interaction with local communities, institutions, and businesses. His professional knowledge will help discover new opportunities for collaboration and strengthen existing partnerships in Singapore's vibrant social and economic environment.

2. Establishing partnerships: Mr. Yeo will leverage his extensive experience and network to assist CTH Group in expanding strategic partnerships both domestically and internationally, and driving business development.

3. Leadership Development: Mr. Yeo will participate in CTH Group's talent development program to cultivate the next generation of leaders with an international perspective and innovative thinking.

Prior to joining CTH Group, Mr. Clarence Yeo held various important positions in Singapore government departments, including Senior Advisor (Special Duties) to the Ministry of Home Affairs, Director General of Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA), and CEO of Home Affairs Elite Academy (HTA). Mr. Yeo has received multiple awards for his public service, including the National Day Public Administration Medal Gold Award in 2021, the Public Administration Medal Gold Award in 2013, and the Public Administration Medal Silver Award in 2006. Mr. Yeo is also active in the private sector and has served as an independent non-executive director of Hong Leong Financial and Neon Group Limited, a member of the board of directors of the Li Zhang Zhi Hua Foundation, a member of the Advisory Committee of the International Border Management and Technology Association (IBMATA), and a member of the Advisory Committee of the Institute of Biometric Identification.
